A Night on Broadway with Ashley Brown

Help us celebrate 20 years of outstanding entertainment at the Hoogland Center for the Arts!
We are excited to announce our 20th anniversary gala, A Night on Broadway, will take place on Saturday, September 14th! The event will feature a silent auction and an exciting performance by Broadway star Ashley Brown!
Ashley Brown originated the title role in Mary Poppins on Broadway, for which she received Outer Critics, Drama League, and Drama Desk nominations for Best Actress. Ms. Brown also starred in the national tour of Mary Poppins, garnering a Garland award for “Best Performance in a Musical.” Her other Broadway credits include star turns as Belle in The Beauty and The Beast, Jack O’Brien’s national tour of The Sound Of Music, and Disney's On The Record. Ms. Brown has also performed with virtually all of the top orchestras in North America, including the Boston Pops, the New York Philharmonic, and The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra at Disney Hall.
Our Gala event is our major fundraiser of the year and your sponsorship is vital to our success. Proceeds from this event help pay for the day-to-day operations of the Hoogland Center for the Arts, which is home to 20 resident groups and host to over 100 other community organizations that use our space every year. With your financial support, the Hoogland Center for the Arts will continue to be “the place where the arts come alive” in Springfield.
Students from the Hoogland Performing Arts Education program will join Ms. Brown for the finale of her concert!
Show only tickets are available for $50 each, and include the silent auction, cash bar, and the performance in the LRS Theatre. People who purchase show only tickets are encouraged to come at 7:30pm to enjoy the silent auction, and the performance at 8:30pm. The silent auction ends just before the start of the performance, so arrive early to place your bids!
