Welcome our new Office Manager Nicole Sivak!

The Hoogland Center for the Arts is pleased to announce that Nicole Sivak has accepted the role of office manager for the downtown Springfield performing arts center. Nicole has worked at the Hoogland since 2018, first in the box office and then as the administrative assistant. In her new position, Nicole will be in charge of scheduling all of the events that take place within the 80,000 square foot cultural center, and will be and working with resident organizations and outside renters to provide quality entertainment for the Springfield community.
Nicole has called Springfield home her entire life, attending both Lincoln Land Community College and the University of Illinois Springfield. She and her husband John live in Springfield with their daughter, Eloise. Nicole has several years of management experience and has spent time working in the insurance industry and for two of our local health care systems. When her daughter Eloise was born, she began studying education while working in childcare as a preschool teacher. Nicole volunteers at her daughter's school on the FACE team, has performed and worked backstage in local theatre productions, and has co-directed shows at two local high schools.
